we were very excited about a front loader lg, one year and 2 months later the washer is broken, it won't turn. We waited to see if lg would extend the warranty,,,, they have refused. I have used the right detergent and never used anything heavy in it. I have heard from our repair people that lg appliances do not have a good rep. Now I have to wait 4 more days to get our appliance people here. I will never buy a lg appliance again.

I feel for you my Lg washer went out after 10 months. I have spent the last 2 months visiting with Lg technicians on a weekly basis. I even had an Lg engineer come out with the technician and look at the machine. I have had the clutch and rotor assembly replaced twice. I have had a new computer sensor panel put in, a new stainless steel tub, 4 new shocks. They today deemed that it is unfixable and left me with a fax number and copies of the service work done to try and get a new machine. I wasted $1000.00 on this machine. My whirlpool lasted me 10 years with no problems. I feel like they have stolen my money and left me with this machine that I have to fight to get replaced. I will never purchase an Lg product again.

I feel for you we bought an Lg washer and dryer less than a year ago. They have replaced the rotor and clutch assembly twice in my machine, put in a new stainless steel tub, replaced 4 shocks, replaced the computer sensor board and my machine still isn't running now for 6 weeks. They even sent out an engineer from Korea to look at my stupid washer. He deemed that it was unfixable. I am so glad that it took them 6 weeks to figure that one out. So now I have to fax in my Proof of purchase and the copies of the service work orders to try and get a new machine. Thanks Lg for the wonderful customer service you provide to everyone!

I am having the same problem, My washer is 1yr & 1mo. old & it won't turn on. I called for service & was told it is a very expensive part & they would have to get it approved, it could take a few weeks. This is just not acceptable, a washer that doesn't work longer than a year before it breaks down? I am so sorry that I bought an LG appliance., and Best Buy is really not helping much, their in no hurry to speed this up.
