LG Front Load Washer/Dryer - Load/Water Temp/Drying Info Words are wiping off. - LG front loader washer
We are going to need to guess what type of cycle we want to wash or dry on because the words (ie: Permanent Press, Heavy Load etc) are wiping off just cleaning my machines with Ammonia-Free Windex and a soft rag! I called LG and they said even though I have only had my $2,800 front loading (on pedestals) machines for 3.5 years and have an extended warranty on them the warranty doesn't cover getting new control panels with the writing on them!
I have talked to someone that had this happen on her LG stove (she can't tell a lot of what she is doing with the stovetop/oven because the wording is gone). She reminded me that if I do pay for a new panel unless LG is sealing their wording better on their appliances the new panel words will probably wipe off also!
