It does not work!!!!


I purchased a new LG LFX25974ST 24.7 cu ft french door refrigerator. It has now been more than a month (original service call made to LG was made on October 16, 2014) since our 1 year old refrigerator failed, and still there is no end in sight. LG has refused to accept the fact that they made a poor product, and has now had two service companies tell us the exact same thing. The parts are still under warranty, I had no issues paying for the first service company to fix the unit. After making the repairs and the unit still did not work, they requested LG replace the unit because the leak is between the walls. This is not what LG wanted to hear, so they engaged a second service company who came to the house, and told us they need to replace all of the same parts that were originally replaced. We are still waiting for the second service company to finish there work. Every time I talk with LG they act like this is my fault, and have done nothing to help get the issue resolved. It is my assumption that LG has no intention of getting involved, and will do whatever it takes to make this as painful as possible. To LG I am just a cost of doing business. We have all LG products in our house that we purchased from Con's and will begin phasing them out as soon as possible.

I FEEL YOUR PAIN. WE PURCHASED A DISHWASHER AUG 22ND THAT WORKED JUST OVER A MONTH. STORE WOULD DO NOTHING AS WE DIDN'T PURCHASE EXTENDED WARRANTY. LG WOULD NOT HELP US AT ALL , UNTIL WE CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES.
THEY ACCUSED US OF BEING AT FAULT, EVERYTHING FROM MUST BE RUNNING IT WITH AN EXTENSION CORD, TO IT IS ON CHILD LOCK OR TIME DELAY.

WITH EVERY CALL WE ARE FORCED TO GO THRU CUTTING THE POWER TO IT AND PUTTING IT ON CHILD LOCK AND TAKING IT OFF AND PUTTING IT ON TIME DELAY AND TAKING IT OFF.
ENDED UP -THEY GAVE A LIST TO ME AND TOLD ME TO CALL A REPAIRMAN ON THE LIST MYSELF. NOW , THREE SERVICE VISITS AND THREE PARTS LATER - DOOR SWITCH, CONTROL PANEL, MOTHER BOARD - STILL NOT WORKING. THE REPAIRMAN HAS TOLD THEM ON THE LAST TWO VISITS , THE MACHINE NEEDS REPLACED. BUT NO, THEY SAID THEY WILL ONLY KEEP PUTTING ON PARTS.

NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO GET OUT OF PAYING TRIP CHARGES THEY AGREED TO , TO THEIR OWN REPAIRMAN AND TOLD HIM HE IS AT FAULT. HE ONLY PUT ON THE PARTS THAT THEY TOLD HIM TO !!!!

HE AGAIN CALLED AND REQUESTED THIS MACHINE BE REPLACED AND THEY SAID NO, FOR HIM TO ORDER ALL THE SAME PARTS HE ALREADY PUT ON IT , AND TRY THEM AGAIN ! HE TOLD THEM HE WAS NOT WILLING TO DO THAT , THAT THIS NEEDED REPLACED AND THAT IS RIDICULOUS !
HE TOLD THEM HE IS DONE WITH IT, IT CANNOT BE REPAIRED.

SO NOW , THEY DEMANDED WE MUST UPLOAD A RECEIPT TO THEM TO PROVE WE BOUGHT IT AND THEY WILL REVIEW THAT FOR UP TO 14 DAYS THEN MAKE A DECISION , WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO NEXT .

I CANNOT BELIEVE THE STORE WHERE WE PURCHASED IT, HHGREGG WOULD DO NOTHING TO ASSIST US, AS WE DIDN'T BUY THEIR EXTENDED WARRANTY . THEY COULD HAVE CARED LESS WE HAD A DEFECTIVE ITEM.

IT WAS JUST OVER A MONTH! THEN EVEN WORSE, WHEN WE WERE FORCED TO GO TO THE MANUFACTURER , LG YELLED AT US AND TOLD US WE SHOULD HAVE PURCHASED THE EXTENDED WARRANTY WITH HH GREGG ! WHAT????? WE WERE TALKING ABOUT A FIVE WEEK OLD DISHWASHER !!!!!!! THIS IS HOW LG STANDS BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY.

SO HERE WE SIT, STILL NO DISHWASHER ON NOV. 18TH , WAITING ON LG TO LOOK AT MY STORE RECEIPT AND DECIDE WHAT TO DO.

I HAVE AN LG MICROWAVE, RANGE , AND THIS DISHWASHER . I WISH I HAD NEVER PURCHASED THIS BRAND AND I SURELY NEVER WILL AGAIN!

WE HAVE BEEN PROMISED SO MANY RETURN CALLS FROM LG AND HH GREGG . WE ARE STILL WAITING. SO MANY LIES , JUST TO GET US OFF THE PHONE.

HH GREGG SAID THEY WOULD EMAIL THEIR CORPORATE WITH THIS , BUT NEVER CALLED US BACK. WHEN WE CALLED THEM AGAIN, THEY SAID THEY ARE NOT GOING TO ASSIST US.

JUST BEWARE OF THESE TWO COMPANIES. THEY PROMISE THE MOON , BEFORE YOU BUY. THEN YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN, WARRANTY OR NOT.

NO ONE CAN BELIEVE HH GREGG CARES SO LITTLE ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

LG IS WORSE. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY . WISH I HAD LISTENED TO OTHERS.
